Opinião Literária:

Mais outro romance desta autora que adoro, a quarta história de amor que leio. Nesta história, Ahern apresenta-nos uma história muito mais negra e triste do que as anteriores. Seguimos a vida de Adam e Christine durante duas semanas, sendo que Christine tem de convencer Adam que vale a pena viver. Mal comecei o livro,senti que o final seria mau, o que é estranho pois, normalmente, achamos sempre que as histórias de amor têm um final feliz (não irei dizer como é o final). Mas não. Digamos que a maneira como a história é relatada e as personagens são descritas, parece que o final está à vista. E isso foi algo que adorei neste livro.

Ao contrário do que estava à espera, devorei o livro. O título faz com que este pareça fútil ou infantil mas, ao lermos, percebemos que tem a sua ponta de seriedade; afinal de contas, está a lidar com o fim iminente de uma personagem. De certa forma, How to Fall in Love é uma pequena metáfora num mundo grande - demonstra o quão pequenos somos ao lado de temas como o suicídio ou para que serve a vida, o que fazemos aqui. 

Ahern fez um excelente trabalho nesta livro, conseguindo conjugar o seu toque de magia romântica com a seriedade que seria necessária.
